  1. You can go for debt counseling. They can suggest you with various plan to pay off your debts.

Here is the source of a debt counseling company named http://ezconsolidation.com for your reference.

  2. could you get a job, for CASH UNDER THE TABLE?

  3. Get another job and pay off your debt.

  4. Aside from bankruptcy, you have to get your debts extended at the very best interest rates you can find for as long as is needed.  If you or your friends know of a service that can help allocate your money to your bills on your income, take advantage of it.  Your creditors will like knowing that you're serious.  Speaking of bankrupcy, that would set your plan to have good credit further back by about 7 yrs. if not more.

  5. Get a credit card with a really small limit ($500) and make very small purchases on it.  Pay it off by the end of the month and you will have great credit before you know it!

  6. i think if you talk to them and tell them you can pay little by little they'll let you. cuz thats what my mom did when she wanted better credit but she had like old bills from years ago..

  7. You should use credit repair agency to fix your credit - for example this one - http://buildcredit.ifastnet.com - They can clean lots of bad stuff from your credit report - and do it much faster than yourself, so your credit will go up fast.

  8. You need to call up each of your creditors and explain your situation.  Make special payment arrangements and stick to them.  Or you can call a credit consolidator and get them to help you consolodate all your debts into one and make one small monthly payment.  However you do it...the main thing is to make sure each month you make the agreed upon payment(s).  Good Luck.

  9. I think you can work even though you are legally disabled. You probably know the limit.  But, if you could force yourself to work 10 hours, one day a week it might clear your debt structure.  And you could drop your cell phone service since you have a computer.  Reduce to basic cable asserting that you cannot pay for full range of channels.  Most people would see a disability with high gasoline as money saving opportunity. But, you need to trim your lifestyle a little.  I am almost sure that you can work above board under the Social Security Disability rules I overheard in disbelief on a radio public service announcement.

  10. I know what you are going through and I know it's hard.

All the collections stuff, like the utilities will drop off your credit in 5 years.

Just don't get any new credit issues.

Start trying to save some pennies and get a secured credit card or Conns.com account.

The way to build good credit is to make your minimum payment on time every month, never be late.

Don't pay more than the minimum payment.

Your score will shoot right up.

Don't get a repo on your credit, if you finance a car, and you quit paying due to financial problmes, hide the car.

If it gets repo'd you have that on your credit.

Car loans get wrote off after a few years and will no longer be "out for repo" after three or four years.

Pull your credit for free by sending a request and a copy of your drivers license or ID card and disputer everything.

Demand in your letter that the item was not your account and demand it's immediate removal.. That acutally works.

  11. what can you live without? cell phone? cable? computer? its all about what you need at this point. this is a tough time right now, it will get better but for now, its pretty much about putting food on the table.

  12. I guess it really depends on the extent of your disability are you physically challenged? I mean you're on Yahoo, so I take it your hands work. Maybe you could try getting a job within your means of your disability. Just work on paying what you can.
