Stone fruit can be a pain.  Maybe grapes.  Just be aware that this is not a fun job and is a lot of hard labour.  You will be sick of fruit by the end of it!  Some people do like it though - just not many - which is why we give it to the tourists!

It's all hard work and you actually don't get too much of a choice when you're broke - you can only pick what's in season in your location, but the money can be quite good if you work hard.

They aren't in season yet, but don't do mangoes. Their sap can cause a skin irritation which can lead to permanent discolouration.

Ok, you're an American in a country other than the U.S. (probably Australia) and you want to pick fruit for an unstated reason. Is this the correct reponse to your phishhook?

They are all hard in there own way and it can be a bugger of a job if your not used to it. Have a look on this Aussie (if that is the country you want to pick fruit in) web site and it has a section called harvest trail, it tells you where current fruit picking jobs are and the contacts needed for the jobs.

Have  a look on the tool bar for harvest info and a good look around the site as it has all sorts of jobs there and info for working visa availability jobs, good luck
