I am on "The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time"?

Question

I am stuck, the Goron boss wants me to destroy monsters in a chamber or something in order to get the "Fire Spiritual Stone" how do I explode the rocks with a bomb flower?

I can't with one in a hallway with lots of stairs because it takes too long and it explodes on my head.

How do I explode the rocks blocking my way?

to get the Spiritual Stone of Fire, you must travel to Death Mountain and visit the Gorons, a rock-eating race that has recently been kicked out of its feeding grounds by a race of giant lizards known as Dodongos. You must defeat the king of these lizards, then you gain the stone from the ruler of the Gorons

Once you have the bracelet that allows you to throw the bombs, you go outside and there should be a spot where you pick the bomb and throw it down to the cave below where the boulder is blocking you from getting in (when you first go up the mountain before coming to the Goron city, well above and to the right is a ledge where you stand and throw them down).

Then it blows up, you go inside Dodongos Cavern... I think it is called.... and that last a pretty long time :)

You then get a bomb bag in there and your pretty much liberated.
