  1. How can you open a dance school at 12?

  2. wow that soiunds good, i would say just have a big variety of dances you coiuld teach, i wouldn't just stick with one type. if possible. good luck.

  3. Handle alllll of your business according to contracts!  It's such a sue sue world nowaday, and as a business owner it's the last thing you wanna get caught up in :)

Good Luck, sounds like great fun and a dream coming true for you.

  4. Wow, opening a dance studio at 12?! That's amazining, you're very ambitious.  My main advice would be to not actually take too much advice from too many different people.  Sometimes when too many people are giving you ideas or advice, it can be a little overwhelming.  It's OK to start small and grow from there so try just having those couple of people you trust close by and  don't worry too much about everyone else.  Good luck!!

  5. 1. Make sure you know of a good dance catalog/shop where you can buy your dance supplies (for your pupils).

    2. Know of a good costume maker where they can make costumes for your school (for shows etc) at a discount price.

    3. Make sure you have dance syllabuses books for all your dance styles, all the correct dance Cd's (e.g the IDTA Grade 1 Ballet CD) and a good sound system.

    4. Go on a first aid course or get your mom to go on a first aid course in case any pupil injures their selves.

    5. Go on a child protection course.

    6. Have your t-shirts, hoodies and bags etc made displaying your own unique logo to sell at dance classes.

    7. Have on hand spare dance supplies eg. ballet shoes.

    8. Hold discos and parties to raise money for your school.

    9. Put up flyers all over town, advertising your dance school.

    10. Use Excel to manage your finances.

    11. Make your own website.

    12. Most importantly make sure you are qualified!

    Hope this helps.

  6. Uh...how about you graduate middle school before going into business? Sorry, but do you honestly think you can handle everything by yourself? You have to have a budget, pay bills, hire teachers, advertise, keep the studio in good shape, organize performances, etc. Also, is this a company or just a studio? Because if it's a company, you have to hire and pay dancers and choreographers and rent tons of performance space, go on tours, and all kinds of other stuff. Do you even know enough to have a repertoire and hire dancers that will work for your vision and all of the pieces in the dances?

Another thing to think about: Do you have the tens of thousands of dollars you will need to put down for the studio space, any renovations or installation of floors and mirrors, and hiring teachers?

  7. Tips? .... toes.

  8. well you should definatley get merch

    and sell it there
