I am opening a free salon for children living in poverty and foster/group homes.?

I need donations of professional hair care products (mainly ethnic hair but all are welcomed). Anyone know of contacts I should make. I need to know names and numbers. My salon is staffed with volunteer licensed hair stylists and will be open right now once a month.

Write a letter to the company of the hair care products and explain your mission. They may donate their products for your cause.By the way this is a wonderful thing all of you are doing.

you need to find out where they are going to do there next hair show .. then present it there , or radio  stations as well [ ask any hair salon]

The names and addresses of the companies you want to contact are within reach - as in yours....

Pick up the bottle - address, email and phone will be there.   Contact various companies and explain that you would like free products and why.

You could also contact 2nd Harvest...Yes, the food banks - and become a member w/ them once you are a charity.  You would not believe how much stuff from CVS gets unloaded w/ them each month.  The church ladies picking up the food buy it for a few cents a pound....I doubt there is a preachers family in America within driving distance of one of these places paying for a bit for their product or makeup...

Losts of everything is in the food banks from stores - stuff you wouldn't believe.....makeup, products you seek, OTC medicine, combs, scrunchies - basically everything in the store.....

Once you register yourself as a member, and designate a few of you involved in this start up charity of yours as persons allowed to do pick ups there - you have instant access to everything 2nd Harvest has.....
