  1. be sure to have a few healthy menu items and fun non-alcoholic drinks like fresh lemonade and flavored teas for the non-drinkers

  2. Maybe some kind of small version of basket ball court or football field, golf course green.

  3. frosted muggs.

  4. A lot of beefs(steaks, burgers, country fried steaks, meatballs  *sweet and sour, spicy, both lol, good appetizer*, ribs, sausages like kielbasa and such..)and chickens, (chicken salad, chicken fingers, chicken wings, chicken Parmesan, chicken with mushrooms, chicken with cheese, fried chicken...)

Serve large steaks when you do, sportsy guys don't like wimpy steaks..lol (like texas roadhouse, 16 oz steak for 16 bucks)

Great appetizers (deep fried onions, mozzerella sticks, a bean dip with nacho chips and nacho dip)

Good background music (a lot of people don't like to listen to the sports i've noticed)

relaxed atmosphere, so a guy can bring his date and not feel all "uptight"

Good beer for good prices.  We all know a single Sam Adams beer doesn't cost 5 bucks, nor does any other kind of beer really.

Sports memorabilia (go to ebay, you can find a great variety of all kinds of stuff)

  5. I think something different for a sports bar that might be fun besides the normal tvs and food would be bolingo(the mini bowling) and/or shuffle board. Maybe air hockey and fuse ball? Things to do sort of related to sports besides just watchin tv.

    Good luck!

  6. Keep the bathrooms clean. Pay a professional cleaning service to come in and clean them regularly. Especially the women's bathroom.

Sell a great selection of beer. Not just Bud Light and Miller Lite. Provide a selection of ales and lagers for different tastes.

Do Not play music while the big game is on mute. We all hate that. Play the game over the speakers!!

Sell many different kinds of Wings. Hot, Really frigin hot, mild, old bay, jerk , you name it. Great wings make an average sports bar better than average, and a good sports bar great!

Don't hire a dumb pretty bartender. Have a good, experienced bartender.

Hang really cool memorabilia all over the place. Signed balls, portraits, stuff like that.

    Good luck with your bar!

  7. female dancers or strippers

  8. it really depends how big your place is , but i have been to sports bar in GA and this place had almost 30 screens,

but this place was 4500 sq ft

  9. i would have women dancing on at least one of the bars sometime through the nite.

  10. s*x sells. If you have the hottest hostesses and waitresses wearing as little as possible (without being naked) you're place will be packed.

  11. Please, make sure it has awesome, unique food with some variety! ;-) Too many restaurants get caught up in the all burgers and wings, etc. thing. If you have some great choices and awesome prices, the people will flock there! How about a dance floor upstairs? Say, after 10 p.m., you can boogie on the upper level?

  12. how about internet access? alot of "business" men like to do work while drinking a beer and watching the game-also college students will have a place to access the internet and do there homework.

  13. Serve Monte Cristo sandwiches.

    And Cubanos.

And make Sundays Jersey Day. Free soda and half off appetizers if you wear a team jersey.

  14. Well if you've got the tv's then the most important thing is the food! When I go to a sports bar I look for chicken wings, burgers, good french fries, onion rings, shrimp, and really cold beer. Quality of the food is soooo important! Everything  else can be so-so and if the food is good  I will come back.

But if the food stinks and everything else is good I will not come back.

  15. Make sure not to cover the TV sound with music....too many sports bars do this and kind of kill the point of going!

  16. darts

    pool tables

    a dance floor

maybe a dollar draft beer night with half price appetizers?

maybe one night a week where you have a DJ come in and do karaoke?

don't skimp on the food. if i order a plate of chicken strips, i want big fat pieces.

seriously, don't have music blasting when the game is on like others said, i love my football and i want to hear and see the game.

    FRIENDLY help

    smokin' hot waitresses

    and don't close early!
