  1. A cake is not just any thing that is botten without a thought! I personally know this because I work in a bakery and many people think that pastries are just more junk food. A cake for your bf comes with questions:

Do u know what he likes? chocolate, white, or marbled cake

Frosting? whipped cream dairy, or non dairy: chocolate or vanilla, or maybe butter cream (really sweet) also comes in chocolate or vanilla

and a filling there are verieties: strawberry, cherry, lemon, rasberry, or just plain bavarian cream

Now the fun part the decoration: it all depends what type of guy he is... if he's a guy with a child at heart, get decoration of what he likes nascar, video games etc.... if other plain deco confetti.

Unless you'd want a fancy cake like chocolate cake with fudge filling and fudge frosting, or a chocolate cake with cherrry filling and whipped cream frosting topped with cherries( same as filling) and sprinkled with chocolate shavings, or white cake filled with bavarian cream (also known as custard, mix with rum artificial flavoring) then frost with whipped cream and sprinkle almond shaving all around.

There are many choices and all cakes tast delicious and are perfect cakes when theres a bit of thought put into them no matter what!

  2. B! yourself.

  3. dairy queen

  4. Marble cake. Delicioso.

  5. Baskin 31 Robbins, only about $20-30 a cake.

Or go to a mall and buy an ice cream filled cake for a bit more.

Some good places to buy them are plazas or malls. A good place to buy ice cream filled cake is Pacific Mall in Toronto =P

  6. If you know his fav. kind order that. Have them shape into a the shape of something he likes like his car.radio box. or something cool. Wal-mart around here does some cool things with their art. Also some places can screen print a photo on it take a clear picture and they can turn it into an edible art (I don't like it, it taste like those strip-gums/mints like paper some times if done not so right) but they are unique and cool to look at.

  7. The Cupcake Shoppe on Yonge St

  8. Dufflet! I always order cakes from Dufflet (they have a couple locations downtown) and they're always amazing.

  9. If you like ice-cream cake try Dairy Queen. It tastes good and it is fairly cheap. If you can try to bake one yourself, but if not try DQ. Hope this helps.

They also have many different things that can go on the cake for any occasion.

  10. Dufflet's; check out the bakery or you can get Dufflet's cake at many groceries stores.

  11. If in east Toronto - Lamanna on Kingston Road.  Wonderful Italian pasteries and cake. (No I don't work there!)  There is a cake called Sfolio - like a high class Joe Luis - filled with cream and strawberries.

Second choice would be Dairy Queen ice cream cakes.

Everyone loves both types of cake.

    Have a great happy birthday.
