  1. no! NO! and No again! I did this and it was a mess.  It foams up, and leaks out of the sides of the dishwasher. then onto the floor.  Then it takes forever to get all the dishsoap out, and it will keep leaking and foaming until you do. Then you still have to do all the dishes by hand, plus clean out the dishwasher. It was a BAD idea.

Dishwasher soap does not foam, that is why you use it.

  2. NO>>>NEVER....I did and the suds came out all over the floor!

  3. Don't just borrow some from a neighbor or wash them by hand them run the d/w with out soup to sanitize .

  4. No, Never use any amount of dishwashing liquid in your dishwasher. You will have suds everywhere!!!!!!

  5. I have.  Just a little bit.  I have also ran it with just water.

  6. Yes but JUST A DROP! And add a little salt to it. The salt will keep the dishsoap from foaming too much. The hot water will do most of the work. This is not something you should do all the time but it works in a pinch.
