  1. increase your exercise and decrease the calories you take in. that is the only right way to lose weight. start out by exercising 15 min for a few days then 30 mins then 45 and up it to an hour if you can.  write down everything you eat and get a calorie book so you will know how many calories you are eating.  to get the amount of calories you should try to eat per day take your current weight x 12.  If you stick to it you will see results fast.  do not weigh more than once a month, go by how you feel and your clothes fit.  you will shrink faster than you think.  dont deprive yourself of any foods as long as you stay within your calorie goal. this worked for me, i lost 50 lbs and have kept if off for 6 months and i feel great.

  2. okay, run for 10 minutes one day,

    12 the next

    15 the next,

    18 the next,

    20 the next

    just keep increasing

dont drink soda, instead drink juice or water.

try not to drink too much milk

dont eat 3 meals a day, metabolism doesn't work that way

try eating 5 small meals a day

if you feel like icecream, try haagen dazs strawberry or mango sorbet but only one serving.

If you feel like chicken, dont eat fried, try a grilled chicken sandwich

if your going to burger king get macaroni and cheese instead of a burger

if you feel like chocolate eat low fat chocolate icecream

everytime you feel like eating something fattening think about whether or not there is something healthier that resembles that, that you could be eating :)

have fun, follow these rules, and im sure youll do fine

  3. go  wheat  free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7

p.m.  People  achieve  marvellous  results  with it. Depending on your

initial  weight,  you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't eat  wheat  then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don't  eat  junk  food,  and  you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is

still  balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans.

  4. eat healthy daily servings and exercise for half an hour to an hour everyday, even just going for a walk or a jog would do it, thats the healthy approach at least

  5. i think you sould rally cut out like ice cream, soda, candy, chips, and just have red meat like 3 times a week but the rest of the week eat fish or chicken...eat your 3 fruits a day...preferably grape fruits they help you lose weight...you shouldnt eat past 7:30 cus when you eat late the food sits in ur stomach over the night and stores fat...you should walk before and after dinner...before because tht gets your body burning calories and it will continue to burn calories for a while after ur done walking....then after dinner for the same reason....and make sure you drink alot of water to flush everything out...i think you r suposed to drink 64 onces...but more is good too...well thats all i can think of so good luck with it

  6. -try not to eat junk food.

    -work out 2 times a day doing this;

sit ups, jumping jacks, if u can; push ups, jog other exercises

    -eat vegetables and fruits.

-if u have the chance go to the gym.

-idk if this works but my friend tried this.. dunno if u should try it though to me sounds weird. but yeah he put on lots of clothes like coats and sweaters and lots of socks and hats and everything and sweated nd supposebly that makes u loose weight.

    hmmm wat else..

try to b out alot doing stuff not jsut watching tv/computer all day..

this is all i can come up with for now, if i get more ill anser again =D

    HOPE I HELPED.

    ooh i just remmebered another.

    DO NOT eat past 7.

dont drink soda, try to drink water instead...

    hmm, eat healthy.

and ijust read ur additional, ur over 8?

    i doubt ur overweight..

oh and also i remember reading somehwre that starving urself makes u actaully gain weight

so wat u should do is have breakfast lunch and dinner and like 2 snacks in between.

    now im done =PP

  7. the cold hard truth: exercise.

you don't have to feel like you ran a marathon in order to lose those pounds. it's not fun and it won't get you anywhere if you don't enjoy it.

so make exercise fun... (hard to imagine, yeah?)

if it's a nice day out, run-- or if walk for a minimum of 45 minutes.

if you're a rookie w/ active exercise start slow.

maybe you'll end up enjoying it.

just get yourself out there and don't think twice about it.

    bicycling

    swimming

    walking

    running

    sports (lacrosse, soccer, tennis, etc.)

    climbing trees

and then there's the eating part.

simple. don't overeat. don't eat fatty foods. and drink water.

sometimes it helps to not even think about losing weight, and just let it be.

  8. Brisk walking 30 minutes per day and a healthy low fat diet. Drink plenty of water also.

  9. just exercise at least one hour a day and eat healthier and cut down on unhealthy snacks.

  10. over eight years? you DONT need to worry about ur wieght unless you a 300 pound 8 year old.

  11. Exercise 3-5 times a week for 45-60 minutes, if you decide to walk - walk at a brisk pace to raise your heart level. Combine cardio and light weight lifting.

Keep a food diary. Write down everything you are eating, the time, portion and contents. If you eat outside of "normal" meal periods, write down why you are eating what you are eating. This will help you figure out if and why you are eating too much.

Balance your meals so you have good carb and protein intake. Carbs will give you the extra push you need for the next couple of hours and protein will help you last until your next meal.

Eat frequent small meals. When you snack, eat fruit low in sugar and don't eat carb foods.

Stay away from excess sugar, even in fruit.

    Drink lots of water.

Try to exercise in the morning so your metabolism stays high throughout the day.

Weigh yourself weekly, don't do it daily, you will discourage yourself.

Measure yourself too.  You will see faster results in inches lost than pounds and this will help you get through the "hump" you feel in not making progress. Measure your arms, waist, chest, thighs.  Measure every week to see your progress.

Buy an outfit or shirt or jeans that is one size too small or that you cant button up. Us this as a goal outfit and look at it all the time. Hang it on your door or in your bathroom for encouragement.

Clip pictures from magazines of body types that you want to have. If your focus is a flatter stomach or toned legs, clip pictures of these and tape them to places that you will see them everyday. Like the fridge, mirror and doors. This will be a constant reminder of your goal and help you think twice before you snack.

Try to find a buddy to go the gym with or go sprint walking with. This person with encourage you as much as you encourage them.

Set a large final goal and track your progress. Make smaller biweekly goals to keep yourself from getting discouraged.

If you want to spend extra money you can go to a gym and get 5 sessions with a personal trainer who will teach you how to develop a workout routine, how to lift weights properly, teach you about a food diary and keep you on track until you develop some better habits.

Don't take seconds at the dinner table. Use a smaller plate to serve yourself food, like a salad plate. The plate will still be FULL of food and it doesn't look like you are cheating your BRAIN out of food. Drink a full glass of water before you eat.

    Hope these ideas help you!!!

  12. Everyone needs to lose weight fast.  There is no fast way to make it happen.  You did not gain it fast so you will not lose it fast.

Sorry if that answer annoys you but that is the reality of the story.  If you do not make lifelong changes you will only get fatter as you get older.  Which is another cold hard fact.

Make changes now or become fat like your Mom.  Do you think she planned on being fat?

  13. Eat less (cut intake down by about 300 calories)

Excersise more (an hour each day of cardio- that's running, swimming... anything that get's the heart pumping)

Eat healthier foods (a balanced diet, cut down on fat, eat more fruit and veg)

Eat small meals regularly (about 5 small meals a day)

Drink lots of water (about 8 glasses a day)

Don't eat just before bed time (stop eating about 3 hours before you go to bed)

Remember to eat breakfast (as soon as you get up)

  14. Hey..so i know you may be a little self conscious with your weight, but it is important that you do everything in a smart way. Don't immediately start a diet in which you cut everything out. The key is to do everything in moderation.

I would strongly suggest talking to your parents They can help you figure out the best way to go about losing some weight. Since you are eight, keep in mind that you will still be growing which can help even things out.

If you are convinced that you need to lose weight, even after talking to your parents or to a doctor, i would suggest limiting junk foods to once or twice a day, and not eating a lot of junk late at night. Also try to be active, like playing games maybe even team sports. Try swimming--it's a great source of activity that works your entire body.

Good luck, and remember to take pride in your body, exercise, and don't make any rash decisions.

  15. The best way to lose weight: eat less c**p, eat more veggies, cut out red meat (or drastically reduce your intake of red meat), reserve sugary/salty snacks for "treats", exercise more (3-5 days a week).

Here's the most important rule: DO NOT get too obsessive about losing weight, or you will fail.  Be happy with the way you look now and think about getting healthier so that you really have something to work towards.

  16. I would say go a 1500 calorie diet (with reasonabley healthy foods) and do 30-45 minute cardio exercises everyday.

  17. only eat when you're hungry and only eat until you're full - they're the most obvious tips! if you're trying to avoid feeling hungry then drink plenty of water. this always helps me anyway. try and do a little more exercise than you would usually do as well. the weight loss won't be drastic, but it will come off pretty quick if you just move more and eat less! i'm also over weight and this is what i do before a party or going back to school, etc, haha.

  18. First, don't expect to lose a lot of weight fast. Try to lose 2 or 3 pounds a week - that is a good goal. Here are three things to do: (1) get more exercise - instead of watching TV or being online go for a walk and walk as fast as you can for at least 30 minutes a day, every day. (2) eat the right things - don't eat chips, candy, fast food or ice cream. If you drink soda, drink only diet soda. Try to get to like carrots and other vegetables. (3) drink lots of water - if you're hungry, drink a big glass of water instead. Drink 5 big glasses of water every day. Good luck!

  19. eat healthy and work out a little but don't go over board cuz you will quit if you muscles start to hurt
