First, know your subject, compile your data and begin with confidence. The first part of a speech is the over view in which basically you tell them what you are going to tell them. The second is the body, tell them what they came to hear and third is the summary, tell them what you told them. Forget what they think about you as they will probably be thinking about themselves. As long as you know your subject you should be fine.
