I'm paying $3.88 in Florida. On a recent trip to Germany I paid (converted - liters to Gallons / Euros to Dollars) US$10.49 per Gallon. Unfortunately it looks like we're headed towards those ridiculous prices.

It just cost me $89 to fill up my tank! The same tank used to get filled with just $20!!!!!!!!

It's going to reach $10 per gallon and unfortunately we Americans will just accept that. We tend to accept anything out government throws at us because Americans in general are afraid of the government. Gas prices aside, has anyone noticed that groceries have doubled in price over the past few months? I don't know about you but I did not receive a 100% raise at work!
