I am paying child support through dor for 2 kids, one just turned 18 last year so they sent me a letter?

from dept of revenue saying that i dont have to pay for him anymore but i still have to pay my arrears, i was out of work a couple of years ago and i fell behind in my payments, now it says i will have to pay 125 percent what does that mean?

  1. It means that for period you did not pay you must pay the full amount you owe plus an extra quarter of that amount on top.For example if you owed £100 you should pay £100 plus £25 which is a quarter of £100 so you should pay £125 in total.


  2. You have to pay what you owe.. plus a penalty for falling behind.
