I am permitted to recycle plastics with a code 1 or 2. But where can I recycle the other plastics?

I understand your problem. Maybe it's not the right thing to do but I take all doubtful plastics to the public recycle bins, if we keep putting them in there the authorities will have to take responsibility, there's nothing else we can do.

Our local news channel just did a story on this topic. Just because it has the "recycle" logo on it means nothing. The only plastics that get recycled are, all plastic bottles and #1 and 2 plastic bottles, everything else just goes in the garbage. I didn't know that either until I checked with my local recycle company. Your local waste management should have brochures on what is recyclable and what is not.
