I am pissed mad over illegal immigrants, anybody else?

Today I just got off the bus and there were these immigrants who couldn't speak a word of english riding my bus today. They have bags and bags of clothes from Macys and then head off to the local $800 a month motel in which they live in. MMMM i wonder who is paying for this motel? Who can afford to live in a motel? Could it be our Own government paying for this? Are they paying for illegal immigrants to be at the local motel? Where do they get this money to buy bags and bags of clothes at Macys?

I get a little pissed to about this.  I live in a very rual area.  Everybody knows everyone and not allot of good jobs unless you drive about an hour to the next big town.  I have worked at the local doctors office(here in the small town) and let me tell you that the immigrants that are coming in there with their medicaid cards is about 80%.  Most of that are women who are pregnant.  Now they also get and interrupter because neither male or female can speak english.  Now we know who pays for the medicaid and you can guess about the interrupter.  I asked a freind of mine who works at the Family Services office about this.  She said that this is getting to be the majority.  Because if they have the baby here they can stay.  And since they have figured out the welfare system their gonna use it.  It is easier for an immigrant to get assistance than a single white/black american female with children.  Just ask someone at your local family service office.  I just die a little when I look at my paycheck and see how much I pay for insurance and taxes.  And then also have to pay copays.  I sometime wish I could get free stuff.  Just anything free!!!!

I had an ancestor who came to America illegally in the late 1600's, fleeing from forced service on a British ship. I had two more ancestors who came here illegally from Ireland (before Irish independence), using false names. They were fleeing persecution from the British. (They were fighting for Irish independence.)

The point is, people who come here illegally are generally fleeing something, whether persecution, hunger, bad governments, etc. My ancestors were illegal, but all became citizens in time, and raised law abiding children who contributed to make America a better place. So cut the illegals some slack... in their shoes, you might have had to make the same choices.

What an idiotic way of thinking -- the dollar is at record lows against other currencies, so people from other countries are pouring into the USA right now to shop, since for them, prices have never been lower. It's called capitalism. You think someone who doesn't speak English is an illegal alien? I'd rather deal with those people you were on the bus with than you -- they definitely have more class.

Do you really find it shocking that immigrants make money with their jobs? And since when does the government pay for hotel rooms and clothing at Macy's?If they do, someone please hook me up with some of that. When it comes to this topic of immigration and illegal immigration, you are really quite ignorant. Educate yourself.

So they don't speak English...big deal.  Does that mean that everyone who doesn't speak English is automatically an illegal?  $800 a month?  that isn't much for a hotel.  hotel I worked at was $60 a night = $1800 a month, and that was Comfort Inn...so hardly luxurious.

How do you know the government is paying for that cheap motel room?  Like others have said....maybe they were tourists!

Yeah they could be illegals...but the information you have given us just says you have jumped to a conclusion based on one fact.

Wow you just assumed that because they speak a different language that they are illegal.  As was said they could be tourists, they could be here on work visas thus paying taxes  and earning a leaving.  

There are a lot of reasons people from other countries are here not all are the illegal immigrants that are a drain on our society.  Plus, I know a few that are from Canada that are here illegally, but you'd never know it because they speak perfect English and look like everyone else.  Yes they are using our resources to live here.
