  1. Well, British-Columbia and Alberta are good choices, you have 3 hockey teams to choose from: Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary. And there are also the beautiful Rockies. Banff National Park and Lake Louise are popular choices in Alberta. Also, the east coast is stunning...cannot go wrong visiting newfoundland...good place to see glaciers, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia are also popular provinces as well. I am from Quebec and a little biased!! Quebec is beautiful...there are the Laurentian Mountains north of Montreal that are beautiful any time of year...especially the fall, Montreal is a great place to visit and you can catch a hockey game!! But don't forget, Montrealers speak french but there are usually enough english speakers to make your stay easy. Also, there is some great Whale watching tours in certain towns eastern Quebec, try Tadoussac!

Have fun no matter where you choose!

  2. Canada is a huge country...so experiencing anything Canadian could involve hockey, ice skating, skiing, dog sledding horse back riding, hiking, sail boating, mountain climbing, speed boating, swimming, camping, canoeing, hunting, watching wildlife. etc etc...there is no end to the list...so yes the mountains would be a good start...the coastal regions would be another...either east or west.  The land of the midnight sun is fun too...the further north to longer the sunlight in the summer...in the winter the further north, the longer the nights...your choice...it is a natural smorgasbord .

  3. Well if you want to experience snow, I suggest coming in the winter sometime considering that's when it snows.

Quebec is like the most beautiful province and has everything you want to experience: hockey (Montreal Canadians), LOTS of snow - like the most in Canada, and the Laurentian mountains. Also GREAT skiing. Oh and AMAZING food.

    It's very touristy.
