I am planing to invest in gold pls suggest is the right time to invest?

If the country you live in has no national debt, and is not pursuing inflationary policies, then you might not want to buy gold.  But please tell me where that is, because governments cannot resist debasing fiat currencies through inflation.

In the United States, where the government spends like a drunken sailor, there is no doubt where the dollar is going.  We have a national debt approaching 10 trillion dollars, with over 50 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities.  In the not so long haul, the dollar will strive for parity with the dollar from Zimbabwe.  

Gold is not a spectacular investment, but it will hold its value during times of inflation like nothing else. The best time to buy may have been a year or two ago.  But now is an excellent time to buy gold.
