here is the deal i'm turning 16 in one month. as a gift my parents are buying me a new suv under $35,000, i plan to buy the redisigned nissan xterra should i? or what else should i consider

Scratch the SUV. Filling it up is going to be a huge burden now and in the future, and the resale values of SUVs are dropping like a rock.

I'd go with a Honda Fit. Good on gas, plenty of room, and girls like them. Well, I do at least.

#1. Be and act blessed cause you ARE.

#2. Get something wise even though your parents are babying you and will probably even pay for the gas.

Get a used mustang man, or an Acura RSX.

The fuel effiecnt, expensive, preppy car for the person just like you ^_^ (sorry, but you must be a big snob or your parents are if they are paying that much. Even with good grades and sports, thats still a lot

honestly I'd o for a civic or an accord they are really nice and easy to drive, and with the gas prices they get about 40-42 mpg. and same thing with an accord and they require little to no maintenance, plus for a first time driver you would have a much easier time driving it than an SUV.
