  1. Paris is nice, but expensive. I think the cheapest hotel we saw there was 120 euros, which is like 240 american. And that was just for one night! Barcelona is beautiful, and cheaper than Paris, but you are till looking at around 100 euros a night. Food is expensive, like a cheap meal is 6 euros (thats like 10 bucks) but local transportation is pretty reasonable. (its like 1 euro to ride the subway) Rome is really nice, but just so you know, all of the places you have chosen are the big cites, so they are pretty touristy. Flights are pretty expensive, I use kayak.com to search for flights. I would suggest buying a guidebook like lonely planet or rick steves, and flipping though that before you go. also learning a few phrases is helpful, even though alot of people over there speak english. England in general, i found to be kinda expensive, and i cant speak for amsterdam, since i haven't been there before. I would suggest saving like 2000 just for airfare though, since airfare seems to just keep going up and up these days. Oh, and seriously, be careful of pick pockets, since they are REALLY good over there. I just came back from an EF Collegebreak trip, I don't know if thats your thing, but it was a really good deal for the price. Maybe you should take a look at it. They have a trip that goes to all of the places on your list for like 18 days I think. You should check it out. I did a trip through them to Greece, and it was really amazing. If you do end up wanting to use them though, I have their discount code, its hesseln1188 and it gets you $50 off any trip, but more off some of the promotional trips. They're packages trips so my trip included round trip airfare, hotels, and breakfasts. I thought it was a good deal. Anyway, good luck, and have fun on your trip!
