  1. I hope this helps

  2. Cusco (Machu Picchu)

    Puno (Titicaca Lake)

    Nazca (Nazca Lines)

    Lima (for museums, colonial churches)

  3. visit machupichu the best place ever

  4. Lima is a blast - the nightlife in Barranco is amazing - try Bierhaus.  Miraflores in Lima is also nice.  Make sure you drink a pisco sour (notice I said "a" pisco sour - they are potent!)  I would recommend a city tour in Lima - you will see more of the city that way than you would on your own.  The old part of the town is beautiful - make sure you see the Monasterio de San Francisco - and the catacombs beneath!

Cusco is a must - Beautiful city clear up in the Andes - be prepared for altitude sickness - the Coca tea helps - make sure to drink lots of water.  But spend some time in Cusco and the surrounding area - just gorgeous.

And of course, you can't leave without seeing Machu Picchu.  Absolutely amazing - one of those places that makes your heart stop when you first see it.  Make sure to climb up to the guard tower - the view from there is amazing!

Have a great time - I'm jealous - I just got back from a trip to Peru and I can't wait to go back!

  5. You must to stay in Lima a couple of days, have a lot of seafood to eat - try ceviche, tiradito, tacu - tacu de maricos (fried beans and rice with seafood sauce)... there´s nothing better than that...

You should visit at least one museum to learn about the Inca culture before leaving to other cities..

You must go to Cuzco (the main city for the Incas), visit Machu Picchu and Sacsahuaman.

    Don´t miss Chincheros market.

If you have time, go to Nazca Lines, near Lima...

Visit Trujillo, Chiclayo... Huge painted pyramids made by other cultures centuries before the Incas at huaca del sol y luna.

Every tourist go to the south, but I highly recommend to go north...

  6. Eating out just don't eat too much of course and be careful what you eat. Symptoms that you ate something bad are vomiting and dirrehha of course again.

  8. I went to LIMA at Christmas.

Baranco is nice, Miraflores and the Larco Mar mall.

The Pachacamac (sp) ruins outside Lurin are cool.

    Cuzco is nice I hear.

The Nazca lines if you are traveling in that area are neat.

Machu Picchu was just recently named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

I am going back in November, Lima to Lurin.

Lima is great for eating out. Sooooo many restaurants to try. I suggest any restaurant that advertises as "Argentine steak house". Yummy.

    Have fun.
