I am interested in seeing the lot, from spain to russia. What places are awesome and what places are overrated? I am 22 and enjoy a bit of an adventure.

  1. You must go to any artist communities in Russia-you will find they are very friendly and willing to share their secrets as well as lifestyles with you. Be sure to bring a few extras when we go there-they still like jeans and chocolates and such because while it's there-it's expensive. When I went I had a couple ask me if I could get them Philly cream cheese. Germany-the wall may have come down but you should see both sides-the lasting effects are still there to be witnessed. See everything you and and meet everyone you can, exchange numbers and addresses and go back as often as you can!

*oh- the grave of the Mad Monk in Heilbronn Germany-lore is that he was so evil when buried they separated his head from his body by a stream to ensure he would not rise again. You gotta go at night-spooky.

I don't know how long you plan to stay-but work in Spain so you can participate in the running of the bulls-I'm still so upset that I missed that :(  It's something that's so exciting and I've always wanted to do-now I'm too old and not a good runner at all, lol.

  2. I am originally from Ukraine and can tell you that is a great place to see. If you visit Russia, do not go to Moscow! It is overrated and very expensive. Definitely visit St Petersburg! It is an amazing city, so much culture, great music! Check out amazing bridges!

Poland is great too. In Warsaw you can check out old part of the city, you can walk through and experience polish culture! great food!

If you do end up in ukraine, i advise you to take a bus all through europe, you ll save tone of money! Visit Lviv! Amazing city, tone of historic buildings, it is a music mecha in Ukraine, tone of gardens! If you can make it to Kiev, it would be a great place too! The main street has tone of places to eat! and you can drink on the street! Tone of museums and make sure to check out Andreevskiy spusk, it has tone of ukrainian artists selling their work!

  3. I recommend hitting up Germany.  If you stay for a week in a small town, you'll love it.  What I would do is just start walking.  Ask the locals what places you should see, what fun stuff there is to do for cheap and how you can get to your next location for cheap as well.  They have great ideas and often are willing to give you a lift places.  Europe is a tad safer than the US and they are also bit friendlier...just don't expect to be picked up on the Autobahn!

Any country in europe is worth seeing.  Don't take someone else's word for it, there's something good in every country.
