Any suggestions on what city to stay that is between these 3 places, also how far are they from one another? We would prefer to stay in Lake George, but don't want to be driving around all the time. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

  1. if you stay in lake george, there is plenty to do and visit on foot...i dont remember all b/c its been awhile, but there are lots of things to do, see, eat...its fun there..i loved it...take a boat ride while u r there

  2. Lake George and Buffalo/NF are on opposite sides of the state.  If you want to stop somewhere between the two areas, near the Thruway, the Syracuse area might be good.  It would be about 2.5 hours from Syracuse to Buffalo.

Don't know why you're going to Buffalo, but there's not a lot to see there.  There are some outlet malls in the area and the Galleria mall.  The Canadian side of the Falls is nicer, although also busier, than the American side.

  3. well lake george is a very long drive from buffalo.  As great as it is you shouldn't plan on going to niagra falls or buffalo because the drive is about 5 hours more or less.  the drive from niagra falls to buffalo is only about 30 minutes depending on where you are going.  NIagra falls is very fun and there is plenty to do if you have passports you should try to go to the canaidian side.  There are many beaches on the canadian side and there are some pretty kool places you should visit. go on the maid of the mist, the whirlpool rapids jet boats and the cave of the winds.  As for buffalo there are a lot of clubs for the older croud or you could look at the HSBC arena and see what is going on there.  You should probubly stay in a hotel in niagra falls because there is more to do there but look carfully most are old run down motels so make sure the hotel you pick is a name you recognise.

    HAVE FUN

  4. Buffalo and Niagara Falls are together on one side of the state and Lake George is on the other side of the state about 310 miles away.
