I am planning my best friends bachelor party. Is it okay to ask attendees for help in paying?

  1. Absolutely!  the only one who shouldn't be paying is the groom-to-be.


  2. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but I would just ask for hand outs, I would ask for a donation to offset the costs...or, ask people to bring the alcohol. Not sure what all you are planning, but if you are wanting people to get drunk, tell everyone to bring a case of beer, or a bottle of whatever. You could also ask a few to bring snacks or whatever. Then, if you order pizza, then have everyone chip in.

    If you plan on having a stripper, plan to pay that yourself, but you could have people bring things with them.

    Of course, the party would be pretty lame if no one brought anything, but I am sure if you put it out there for people to bring stuff, they will. BYOB, its not just a saying, its a right. Lol.

  3. yup just remember to add in the cost of the bachelor when telling everyone how much it is because he doesnt pay!
