You can also look at wedding photographers' websites...they'll usually have pictures of the actual ceremony and table settings and place cards and things like that to give you ideas.

I've found watching some of those bridal shows on the WE network helps(Platinum Weddings, Bridezillas, Wedding Central, etc.) The knot.com is a good website, but I wouldn't depend on it for all information. Orientaltrading.com has some great discount wedding stuff, places like hobby lobby and michael's have great stuff, and at the end of the summer, some of that stuff goes on sale.

The library has basically every book on weddings there is. Go to the library and just sit down at look at the books. Take some home, photo copy the stuff you like

www.theknot.com ... really helpful in finding vendors! Also believe it or not I found sooo many great things on ebay and everyone was so impressed by the personalized items at the wedding! I got save the date magnets with our pictures on them, an amazing card box in our colors, personalized place cards and table numbers all with our monograms and more all just by searching out things on ebay sooo helpful and made our wedding unique and more affordable but didn't look cheap at all. It's the best advice I could ever give!!! Oh yeah and I got a great wedding planning notebook from my best friend it was pink and super helpful because it had dividers to put fliers and such in it was great... she got it from Barnes and Noble for about 25 bucks I think. Above all enjoy wedding planning is a blast and good luck!!!
