I am planning of purchasing a Binoculars.?

Question

Any one can help me, what is there to the seen before getting one.

I want it for my personal use. Like I some times like to go to forest or some times I like to see airplanes from my home or may be moon etc.

So what do you advise me.

What to get?

Where to get?

Any other information would be appreciated.

When I got mine I went to the Army Surplus store and had them explain to me what all the specifications meant and what would be best for me when I went camping. They were super helpful (because most people at Army Surplus stores are there because they're intelligent and know what they're talking about, not like the typical teenager working at Big 5 for the summer) and I got a perfect, compact, lightweight pair that was on sale.
