I am planning on buying a Wilson K tour raquet and i need a little help.?

What kind of string should i get and what tension should i get on it?

I am a fan of the Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour (16) and Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power (16).  Both are durable strings which have decent power and easy access to spin.

it is a control type of racquet, get a string can give you some pop.

i use 17 gauge hybrid, any brand will do. string around 60 lbs or so can give you good control and power.

i am a national level player ranked inside the top 200 in the country, and i use luxilon big banger alu power rough in the mains, strung around 56, since you string it 10% lower than you would with a normal string.  In the mains, i suggest using a synthetic gut for extreme playability.  Try to find a durable synthetic since the luxilon lasts forever.  String the mains around 58-62.  The big banger rough is a string that has long notches in it so it grips the ball.  it is manufactured by wilson, so it will work well.
