The school is in Warranwood, Australia and I can't seem to find any listings of flats to investigate before I move there. I have a sweet cat that will be coming with me so I need an apartment that allows pets--but I don't want to pay a fortune. Help! How do I find an apartment over there????

  1. I agree with Rifleand, but would add that the you could try asking the school see if they have anyone there that will billet you or at least let you board for a couple of weeks when you first arrive so you can then pick where u want to live.  BTW the cat will be in quarantine for a few weeks you might want to start finding out about that process now.

  2. try realestate.com.au or domain.com.au.  You obviously won't be able to find something this far in advance but you will be able to suss it out.  You could also have a look at gumtree.com.au and flatmatefinders.com.au.  Enjoy your time in Oz!

  3. Bringing an animal into Australia is a Costly venture and there is up to 3 months of quarantine for the pet to go through . If you can find someone to look after it in your country while you are over here it would possibly be better for the cat and your pocket.
