  1. You may be able to. First you have to apply for a pardon or discharge from your criminal admissibility. You can find more information on the Immigration Canada website here:

  2. If they check your record, you're going back home.  DUI is one of the excludable offenses for Canada entry.  

    If you want to go, you should apply for "a Minister's Approval of Rehabilitation" to wipe the record clear:

I think you can... not 100% sure though.  I know that the US doesn't allow Canadians in but then the US has some of the worlds most strict rules and policies.  When you come back across the border to the US, since you are a US citizen, they just ask you what your citizenship is and what you're bringing back with you.  When you're coming back into your own country they are much more forgiving.... unless, of course, you are one of the "random" cars they pull over to search, which does happen.  Make sure you do a thorough investigation online before you go.
