I just got the SCAD catalog and it says you have to put together a portfolio as a part of the admissions. I want to study interior design and I cant draw, but i am very creative. There aren't art classes I could take to help me anyway at my high school. Do I need a portfolio if I am going to study interior design and do I need to know how to draw or do they teach you that at SCAD?

  1. The portfolio is optional. It helps but its optional. The portfolio is done for scholarship consideration. Here are their requirements.
