i would buy skull candy. i have in ear and over ear and both are really great. obviously, the over ear is better, but since you dont want that, i'd go with the skull candy in ear headphones. i think they are $35

Look at Klipsch's. They're noise canceling and as long as you're using them right, the bass is good. What's great is they aren't huge. They're made like earbuds, but the design is pretty much an earplug that's been made into a high quality headphone. So it cancels noise and sounds good.

The best out their will be Bose. They cost a lot. a pair of earphone cost like 100 dollars. If you Are looking for high quality sound...you want Bose. it has great sound quality. IF u want to go cheaper then you want sony headphones.

BOSE IS THE BEST. it is high quality. skull candy looks like c**p compared to bose i'm telling you they look cool and stuff but i'm telling you bose is the best. i have one it is amazing and the volume isn't that high. and bose earphones block the other sounds like tv or loud screaming etc. and it doesn't bother other people that are sitting next to you. other people can't hear the music while your listening to it so they don't get bothered. i'm telling you skull candy can't do that

All the earphones out there are like 300 bucks.. not joking check the ipod website theres are really pricey.... but thats only if you want real good ones. I buy cheap ones 8 bucks at best buy they last a few months but its better then buying a earphone worth 300 bucks for it to break.

personally, if you dont have an ipod,

id buy the ipod earphones even though they are 30$

they are the most durable earphone i ever got.

the 10$ ones work for a while, but not for long.

plus if you wanna have earphone for a long time,

make sure not to roll them around your mp3,

cause it breaks theem.

Skullcandy headphones have high quality sound and you can really hear the bass in the backround.  They go directly in your ear to make the sound better.  They range from 25 - 60 dollars, but they're worth it.

Bose is one of the highest quality headphones you can get, but the designs aren't really that great. Skull Candy is also a very good brand and  they look a lot better. So depends what your in to, if you want good quality and a good looking brand go for Skull Candy if you are looking to spend quite a bit of money and want one of the highest quality go Bose. They are both really good with bass, I know my Skull Candy ones are pretty good, I looked at the Bose and didn't really think it was worth it for the money that you would have to spend on them.
