  1. Q1 - Carrier specific features most likely encompass data transfer, voicemail, wallpapers, etc. I'm sure you could take a grey market phone into Vodafone to program. You won't be missing anything critical, though. And at 1/3 less, it's probably advantageous to buy the grey market.

Q2 - True. The bluetooth can only be used for pairing with BT headsets.

Q3 - Wifi is wifi. It doesn't matter where you are. Remember that the iPhone was made as a global phone, so wifi will work in India just like it would in the states.

Q4 - It is about average. I would say the biggest downside is that the volume doesn't go high enough, especially in crowded streets, but it IS clear, and I assume that would be for all carriers.

Q5 - If you're a power-heavy user, you will find yourself charging it everyday. And since the battery is non-removable, you can't simply swap out batteries. They do make external battery packs. http://us.kensington.com/html/15458.html

I have considered these and will probably purchase one in the near future.

Q6 - As long as you unlock it properly (use ZiPhone's unlocking method), you shouldn't run into problems.
