  1. So, let me get this straight.... You just found out you are pregnant, I suppose..... And are getting married in a year....

Okay.... You are going to have to do all the normal stuff (work, go to school...), plan a wedding, AND excercise a LOT.... during the pregnancy!....

The more active and flexible you keep your muscles during the pregnancy, the easier it will be to get your body to it's original (maybe better?) shape after the baby is born. There's plenty of aerobic excercises that can be adjusted for mommies-to-be.... Bellydancing is fun, and targets the muscles used during pregnancy/giving birth, so that should help get those muscles back into their original state.....

After the baby is born, order the dress immediately, and get alterations done as needed once you finish losing the weight....

You'll have the last 4 months to lose the weight and finish off the last minute details...

Good Luck, and Have fun planning a wedding and welcoming the new baby. Congrats on both!

  2. Weight loss-yoga and pilaties are great for new moms looking to loose weight.  Walking is great too.

Skip eating sugars (and substitues), drink lots of water, and get pleanty of rest as well.

Organization-make a check list for the wedding and stick to it!  You can do both, its posbbile, just realize it will be busy.

Maybe to limit stress, can you push it back a bit more?

  3. You will roughly have 3 months to loose the weight.  I would not purchase my wedding dress until about a month before your wedding.  With this being your second child it will be more difficult to loose the weight. Get yourself two large binders with pockets.  One for wedding and one for baby.  Write down everything for each occasion and put ALL receipts in the binders . Good Luck and Congratulations on your 2 special days.

  4. You're not mad!

I got married in July and had a baby in January - the only thing I would be concerned with is being 'morning sick'

    You'll be fine.

  5. ^ months is pleanty of time to lose weight, However, the responsabiliy and stress to handle and infant and a wedding at the same time will be extremely difficult mentally and financially.

My only sugestion is to make your wedding as simple as possible, downscale big time and have a wedding that will allow you to keep your sanity.

    Good luck
