  1. Since your current (maiden) name is your only legal name at the moment. then you will have to apply for your passport in your maiden name.

Make sure your AIRLINE tickets are also in you MAIDEN name.  This is a really big issue for brides.

  2. You need to apply in your married name slash maiden name. Cause thats gonna be your passport for about 10 years. You dont want the hassle of changing it.

  3. Apply in your maiden name. You don't have any documents in your new name yet. I just got a passport in my maiden name and they said after I get married and back from the honeymoon, there is a form to fill out to change my passport to my new last name. and they won't charge me anything to do it. As long as its in a certain time period.

  4. Get it in your maiden name, which is currently your legal name.  You can change it to your married name later on with little hassle.

As the above poster said, make sure your tickets are in your maiden name.

  5. Your maiden name.

  6. You should apply with your madien name, since this is your legal name.  If you are from US I did not think you need a passport to get into mexico
