I am planning to go to law school and i am not sure if it would be best to major with a business degree,

education degree, or a political science. I want a degree that if law school doesn't work out i can do something with it. I know that even if it does when i have kids i may want to teach while they are young and go to school so i will have more free time, but i want to open up my own law prac. so a business degree would be good also. what do you think

your thinking is best you join law school it is good with business degree. but it all depend on your mind what your mind say to you. can you are a good businessman or a good lawyer. you better know about your self that you deal good with law or business but if you join law then you have extra degree and it help you alot in your business. your dont need  lawyer for you business you make it by yourself. I will tell you a secret, what you major in really doesn't matter unless you have specific career in mind with specific training.

In other words, if you get a degree in English, you probably won't be able to be an engineer or nurse.

Otherwise, it really doesn't matter.  All things being equal, it doesn't matter if your issue is a fallback.  

Now will your undergrad degree help or hurt getting into a certain law school, that is different. But, purely for a fall back, degree doesn't matter.  And, where you get from usually doesn't either.  The payoff for a pricing private college is usually not significant enough to offset student loans and higher tuition.

I'd personally go with a business degree or an education degree. It would all depend on what area interests you most. I think business and education could be more profitable for you as a career if law doesn't work out, but there are so many areas of law that you can focus on, IF you decide to stay in law.
