  1. Are you sure you want this???

    Okay, here goes:

You don´t say for how long, but I´ll give you a few highlights...

Madrid.  gotta go to Madrid.  You MUST see the Prado, and Palacio Real, and there are tons of other should sees.  I would only spend about two days actually DOING Madrid, but we stayed there and made a couple of side trips...to Segovia and Toledo, and Avila.  Avila is sort of a second-thought for most people, but the other two are musts if you can possibly fit them in, one day per town.

Sevilla:  Absolutely!!!!  I wouldn't spend less than a week, but I have personal haunts to revisit.  For most people, you can do the highlights in two days or so.  Chechk sevilla5.com for all sorts of great info, including housing...we found a GREAT apartment through them on c/Arfe...really cute! and cool location.  not too expensive.

Córdoba is worth at least a day.  Granada, at LEAST two days, MUST SEE the Alhambra, there.  Ronda is a really cute little hilltop town that is worth at least a day to a week, depending on what you want to do and see.  Great jumping off point for bike tours, etc.

Many people want to spend some time on the Costa del Sol...I think it´s too built up, and if I were going to do beaches, I would either go to the Costa de la Luz (West of Gibraltar) or work my way up north.

Barcelona is considered a must see town.  Plenty to do there, and lots of side trips possible, as well.

If you are interested in the Northern part of Spain, Pamplona (where the running of the Bulls is held) very interesting, Santander, a very chic spot during the 19th century (I think) and San Sebastián - I know people who LOVED this small city - very basque with everything that goes along with that, and Santiago de Compustela, the goal of the Pilgrimage of Santiago, is also really interesting.  A couple of fantastic Cathedrals, in León and Burgos.  and the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao.  All very interesting, but places I've not yet been to and can't help as much with.

If you need any more info, email me with more specific questions.

  2. THE BEACH

  3. Yeah. I'm spanish girl.

The best you can do is for all Spain. You see, you can go to 1-Galicia, catedral of Santiago, Marisco.

2-Madrid second, there are a lot of museums and fantastics parks, 4 o 5 days after, you can go to

3- Barcelona, the sea, Gaudi, Ramblas, etc. Later you can go 4-Sevilla, bautiful place, the spanish culture 100% and

    5-Cordova too.

In the way to Barcelona-Sevilla you can go to Port aventura, a tematic park.

It's no expensive if you go with your friends with your bag, in motels or residents.

But if you don't wanna do that, i think the better city is Barcelona, the food, the sea, nice places, very good at night, and Port aventura...

    I hope help you

  4. Absolutely.  I just got back from Spain, we did this Itinerary and it was magical!

Barcelona - visiting Gaudi Architecture, the beautiful old buildings of the Gothic Quarter, the Rambla, where everyone promenades, Montjuic where the views are fantastic and entertainment everywhere.   And don't miss the Picasso Museum.

Madrid - The Prado, the Reina Sofia (and Guernica) Museums.  The Thyssen is nice, too.  The Palacio Real, the Plaza Mayor.

    I will finish this later.
