  1. Perhaps the easiest way to do this is to setup a site on a platform like The Village (http://www.thevillage.com). You can use their article manager, forums, photo/video sharing, and whatever else you need. Best of all, it's free to use it and the hosting for the files is free too (there's one ad on the site).

It takes just a few minutes to setup and there is a support staff if you need a little help along the way.

  2. Honestly, It is just not worth it to go with any one site without doing your research first.  You should consider going to a website like http://www.webhostgumbo.com ... They have an up to date pricing and incentives comparison chart for the top 2008 web hosting companies starting at $3.96 per month with free for life domain names, plus you get $25 back when you choose your web host.  Always  do your research before you buy.  Good luck

  3. Hi,

I can fully recommend Hostgator Web Hosting.  As you're new they have a great free website builder included in the package that will be ideal for setting up your site.

I have used Hostgator as my web host for over two years now and have been very very impressed with them. Firstly they're very cheap but still give me more web hosting space and bandwidth than I'll ever need, the ability to host unlimited websites, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and great customer support.

For less than $9 a month you get:

600 Gigs of Web Hosting Space

    6,000 Gigabytes of Bandwidth

    Host UNLIMITED Websites

    99.9% Uptime Guarantee

    45 Day Money Back Guarantee

    CGI, PHP 4 & 5, RoR, Perl

    MySQL, SSH, SSL, IMAP, POP

    cPanel Hosting

    24/7/365 Upgraded Support

You can find them at http://www.webhostgator.info

  4. That is a great idea go with full steam ahead

  5. DO NOT use a free host, I'm warning you... You'll run into more trouble than it is worth.

    Check out this site... http://www.philswap.com

Search them up after you check it out, you will see they are very reputable on the net.

You can host as many domain names as you want with TONS of space and bandwith for only $7.95 a month. Most web hosts charge $5/m PER WEBSITE, this place you can buy as many sites as you want and still only pay $7.95 monthly... Plus, they have a ton of free tools and are compatible with literally every web application...

  6. it's easy, and you'll save money.  hobohosting.com is a 100% free web hosting site, with no catches! it is NOT ad supported either.

you'll get unlimited bandwidth for your needs, and unlimited storage along with free unlimited email accounts.

with them all this won't cost you a thing and you'll get 99.9% uptime guarantee with 24/7 customer service, try even getting all this from a paid host, and you get this all FREE with them!  I love them...
