  1. Try the Island. All parts are nice.

  2. How about the Okanogan?  it's beautiful there.

  3. Kamloops - best weather in the province, great small town atmosphere with big city amenities, and better real estate prices than any urban centre in the province.

  4. Try Surrey. It's a suburb of Vancouver and is predicted to be the second largest city in BC (after Vancouver) in a couple of years. The better parts (I mean more rich and safe) would be South Surrey, White Rock, and Fraser Heights. Though, I advise to stay away from the, ummm, dangerous parts of the city such as Whalley where there are drug dealers and addicts.

  5. We need more information to before we can answer your question.  What is important to you in a place to live.  Cheap housing?  Work opportunites?  Outdoor Recreation?  What job skills do you have?  Do you have children in schoo?  Do you have any health considerations?

With the exception of Kamloops, the places people have mentioned are very expensive.  Especially the island.

  6. Sunshine coast  Gibsons  sechelt

  7. Try Kelowna or somewhere else in the Okanagan.

about 5 hours away from Vancouver
