  1. I like Calgary the best. The jobs are plentiful. The city is full of interested people & things to do for everyone. Housing is a bit expensive for buying...but so are the other cities you mentioned except for Saskatoon I hear is reasonable. Do some research online. Good Luck...

  2. To me Calgary has a wealth of really good paying jobs but I know lots of people who go there to work and simply can't afford the cost of living.

Halifax is the city I grew up in- beautiful, wonderful people. Sadly it is a city that is struggling- fewer jobs and high crime. I went to school in the suburbs and still missed lots of school because they were closed due to rioting.

Moncton is a great little city - a good friendly place to raise children. You would be in the Maritimes which is a beautiful place with lots to do outdoors. The unemployment rate for the city is 5.9% which is lower than the national average. It has on average the lowest cost of housing in the maritimes- which is fairly affordable all over over.http://www.moncton.ca/Business/Moving_to...

this is a great website for the city- it would be my pick to move to

this website is really good also

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moncton

The others I don't know much about but Saskatoon might too prairie for you- yes there is such a thing. I moved from the coast to winnipeg and have struggled to adapt to the changes of being in the prairies.

Lethbridge's website is http://www.lethbridge.ca/home/Enjoying+L...  so you can see what that is like.

Ottawa is another valid choice. Beautiful City close to so much, if you are looking for a more major city this would be a good choice, its unemployment rate is a little higher though at 6.5%- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottawa - this has tons of info for you

I would say the choice should be between Moncton and Ottawa- you need to decide base on population, how far east you want to go and the lifestyle you want. From the sounds of your Question Moncton has the most to offer you- a low unemployment rate, great place to raise your family, affordable. It has been voted the politest city in Canada. Good Luck with your choice and move
