I am planning to spend the weekend in a hostel in downtown toronto , what will be the best car parking deal ?

I have now idea what is the parking system in toronto , what will be the best call shall i park it far away and take the subway if so is there is an over night parking lots ? any good deal for parking ? feel free to put any helpful idea

  1. Your best bet is a municipal parking lot, shown by the big green P.  It will cost you about $20 per day depending upon neighborhood with no in and out privileges.

    TTC lots do not allow you to park over night, and street parking is by permit only and usually reserved for residents of Toronto.


  2. You can park for free at any of the suburban Toronto Transit Commissions subway stations. On the east side of the city is theKennedy ave station, on the north side is the Finch and Younge station, and in the west end there is the Kipling Avenue station.

    Take the TTC subway downtown to the hostel.

  3. Check with some of the area hotels.  They will likely have better daily parking rates than a Green P lot ($20!!).  Also, what hostel are you staying at?  Have you asked them?  Often hostels have deals with surrounding lot owners/buildings for their guests.
