Firstly, what are the leading secondary schools there? what are the top Private and Government secondary schools in Perth? Co-ed or not does not matter. For government schools, i know there is a good one called Rossmoyre Senior High School. Are there any other schools? Preferably allowing for students to pursue a career in Psychiatry?

And preferably somewhere at most 45 minutes away from Applecross?

Also, what is the difference between public and private schools? Any advantages/disadvantages of going to either school?

  1. I did study abroad on the East Coast of Australia so I am in a little bit of a different situation with the actual schools. As for the culture, you can expect lots of really nice people. The Australians are so kind and caring. They all make you feel welcome and at home. I have a few family members on a sheep farm in Perth. I have visited there a couple of times and had a lot of fun. The west side is definitely more outback so bring your outback clothes. Have fun!

  2. if you have to travel more than 45 minutes you will no longer be in perth.

  3. Sydney's Better.

  4. Well i dont know much about perth but for the public and private schools i do.

Public schools are funded by the state. Private are funded partially by the sate but maily from school fews charged to the student. Private is ussually a lot better, you get what you pay for but there are very good public schools. Most private schools are Christain.

High school realy has nothing to do with psychiatry, you need to go to uni for that.
