Have you ever been to The Melting Pot in Southlake or Addison? It's a fondue restaurant. Cozy, fun, romantic... fairly expensive but soooooooooo good. They have a website. You may want to call ahead and make reservations. I've been here 3 times (my birthday, Valentine's, and our anniversary).

texas de brazil to eat then the west end, texas de brazil cost approx 100.00 for two, it is well worth it. west end is fun weither you drink or not

The Grape is very romantic and a very cool place with great food and service.  If you like lower Greenville it's also within walking distance of some good bars for fun after dinner.

If you like upscale - The Mansion, The French Room in the Adolphus are great.

If you want to do the hotel thing too the Adolphus is cool and the Crescent is pretty good too.

I think you should take him to The Magic Time Machine. Its goofy, silly and all the waitresses are dressed in coustume! How fun!

Or if you want something more romantinic like a fondu place! The food is great and it is so much fun! Good luck!

Well next year you need to take him to reunion tower (they are down this year for renovations until 2009). It's the giant ball tower in Dallas. Its cheap and a very fun and romantic place on the viewing deck. I would recommend maybe even getting a hotel room in the hotel that's attached to it and make it an event. Sorry I am no help this year...

For this year I agree with the other girl...the melting pot is an awesome spot.

i agree with texas de brazil or the melting pot.  there's also morton's steakhouse at the west end who will print a menu especially for the occasion and take a photo for you and then you can follow it with a carriage ride around the west end.
