I am planting mums in a huge ceramic pot, what kind of soil should I use?

Is just regular potting soil that you by ok? Or should I mix it with top soil and and regular dirt?

  1. I think you should use a 'soil less' potting media like Pro-Mix.  It contains peat and perlite and is much lighter than potting soil.  This is an added benefit if you have to move the pots around.  You can purchase the Pro-Mix at Home Depot garden department.
