  1. well i think you should be honest and ask him out for coffee or something and tell him. Even if you guys will not be together a child always needs both parents..at least you are giving him that opportunity.

  2. He deserves to know - yes.  Why would you be scared?

  3. This is a very personal question. I think that if you would like your baby to know their father, you should let him know.  Also it kinda depends on what terms your realtionship ended, is he a decent guy? Would he want to be a part of the babies life?

  4. I personally feel that he has the right to know.  I would try to tell him in person, and as someone else said, in a public place.  I know things don't always seem to happen the way you want them to, but things happen for a reason, and the way they're supposed to!!  Good Luck, and congratulations!!!

  5. You should really tell him. He deserves to know as the father of your unborn child. I would tell him in person although it may be really hard. If you don't feel comfortable seeing him, call him and let him know.

  6. From personal experience I would say: If he is a decent guy then yes tell him.  If it is going to cause you and your child stress through out ya'lls life then no.  I am going through that now.  My mom told me I shouldn't tell him and low and behold she was right.  Do what is best for you and your child.  Just because he is the biological father doesn't mean that he is the best thing for your baby.

    Best of luck

  7. This kind of news should be delivered in person, unless the man was abusive.  Just call him and tell him you two need to meet and talk about something.  Meet somewhere public, so he won't make too much of a scene.

  8. Do it in person, it will show him you care enough about him and the situation that it is true, and you are not saying this to get him back. (because lots of girls do that). It is best to see his first initial reaction face to face. Of course he is going to be a little shocked, and may react different than you hoped, but remember this is new to the both of you and you will need to see how he feels about everything. You guys may want to get back together and raise your child together as a family, or you may stay apart and still have him in the babies life. In the end; its up to you, you will make the final decision, and please don't make any decisions that will make you second guess or regret later. Because this is something you will NEVER forget no matter what, and every child and parent deserves the best as a family. I was in your exact same position 4 years ago, I ended the relationship and then 2 weeks later, hello positive! I told him over the phone and he never spoke to me again. So, please do your self and the baby a favor and give him a fair running on it. If he doesn't want to meet with you to talk, send him something in the mail. If he still persists on not talking to you, consider his parental rights given up and raise the precious child your self! I hope I have not said anything offensive and I congratulate you, because this really is a blessing in disguise.

My best wishes from my family to yours. XOXOXO

  9. Well are you keeping it? I don't mean to be insensitive but first you should think about if you are in any position to have this child. Financially, is the father gonna be around? The world is cruel enough no need to bring a poor child to the world and add your own bad living circumstances.

then if you want to keep it, then it's your decision and don't be scared. Tell him in person because it's the right thing to do! Bad terms or good terms he needs to know for the sake of the baby!!!
