i am pretty sure my rabbit is dying, she is almost 8 years old and i know that is the average age for rabbits to live around. but i don't want her to be suffering, so should we take super good care of her (keep her in the house at night and stuff) and if she isn't doing better or if she's getting worse in a couple days then should we take her to the vet and have them humanely euthanise her? :-( i am so sad, but i really don't want her in pain

  1. I raised rabbits in high school.  We ate them.   They were good.

  2. Put her out of her misery, do what you think is the nicest thing, if you think that letting the rabbit carry on suffering is the right way then so be it.

  3. I am so sorry. I would take her and put her down. I am sad now too because I think my hamster is dying. So I sort of know how you feel. Obviously not totally, but it is really hard to loose a pet.

  4. if you want to end the suffering, it might be good if you put her down. take her to the vet and check how long she might survive...

  5. call the vet! go there asap! get help!

  6. I am so sorry. If you know for a fact, she is dying. Take her and put her to sleep. =(. You don't want her to be in pain. Having a rabbit for even that long is good care and love. I had mine for ten years,,, and I had to put her down. Its sad I know. I am truely sorry...

  7. Oh my gosh I feel so bad for you. But I won't make you feel even worse, so here is my advice. Take it if you wish.

Take her to the vets first, if they tell you she is dying, I know you might cry, but you may have to put her down. That's what I think you should do. Put your rabbit down so she doesn't have to suffer in pain.

After a while, you'll get use to her gone, so if you're parents or if you live alone, then if you wish, then you can get another rabbit.

Best of luck with you and your wonderful little rabbit!

  8. If you don't want her to suffer, i think you should have her humanly euthanized.  I've had a problem like this with a  puppy.  it was really sad, but at least she didn't suffer. it was completely painless for her.

  9. Take her to the vet and get her a checkup and see whats wrong, and if she is dying then discuss the issue. Ask your vet if putting her down would be best to stop all the suffering.

  10. Taking her to the vet to see what is wrong and your best choice and if she doesn't  have a god prognoses you should probably put her down. Sorry hope she gets better!

  11. if she seems to be in pain get her put down. im very sorry about your pet ... i no what it feels like to lose a rabbit...
