  2. there are places all over the world that test for free.

  3. yes they cover it i hope it comes back normal... y would u think u are?

  4. Sleep with someone who can afford it and wait for the angry phone call?

I kid, I kid. Aren't there clinics like Planned Parenthood who do this? Even for men?

  5. I don't know what clinic you go to or what city you live in but I took a full std and hiv screening at my local health department and it only cost me 20.00..The next visits and conclusive tests after that was free of charge..Look into it

  6. yes, your insurance will pay for any testing ordered by your physician

  7. Yes.  Doctors today routinely test their patients for HIV if asked.  My ex husband was unfaithful and didn't use protection, so I have periodic HIV tests to make sure that I am not HIV positive.  Might be easier just to call and ask for a blood test.

The clinic ought to accept your insurance, shouldn't it?  Did you ask? Just wondering.

  8. Depending on your location, there should be clinics that do free or low-cost HIV testing. Public Health clinics usually offer free testing. Just look up your local health department in the phone book and give them a call. HIV testing done by your primary care physician should also be covered (unless you've got the worst insurance plan in the world).

If you tell us your city or metro area, we may be able to find you a clinic that won't charge. Otherwise, please call your doctor and try to schedule an appointment.

  9. why dont u go online and look for places that do free testing? the past two times i took it i didnt have to pay a dime and it was great!
