I am publishing a unique newsletter - we have quite a few US based subscribers, but I need to hit a bigger market in the USA. Where can I advertise? The newsletter is in colour, contains 20 pages and is packed full of illustrations of menus, invitations, handwritten letters from the Victorian royal family to the present day. They all belong to an expert on royal ephmera. My site is: http//:www.royalephemera.com

We will be issuing a newsletter featuring Princess Diana in August, and I think there would be a demand for this, so I really want to get some publicity. Any ideas would be gratefully received!

  1. This just screams Martha Stewart Living if you want to reach the mainstream.  It's a hefty rate for ads in this publication, though.

Are you trying to reach the mainstream U.S. or is it a niche market you're after?  If it's a niche market, look for trade publications or something very targeted.  There is a publication called Victoriana - I think it's published by Harper's Bazaar.

Also, if you have some really rare, interesting stuff, you might want to go with a PR campaign.  A good niche marketing PR agency in Chicago is Rise PR.  Reasonable fees, too.  www.risepr.com

    Best of luck!
