I am putting on a charity golf tournament and am looking for hole contests that work well in scrambles?

This is an 18 hole golf course that I need to come up with a different contest on each hole. I have been asked to not use the same premise more than twice. So longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin are going to be 6 of the holes. I am also going to do closest to marker in fairway. I just need some more ideas. Thanks is advance.

  1. Closest to center of fairway.

Birdie/eagle bonuses on certain holes (for the team, of course).

    Have fun!

  2. Make a putting contest,  before the match, all contestants putt to a hole.  If they make it they qualify to putt after the round for some prize, with all the others who made the putt.

Also, have the closest to the hole winner putt for some kind of prize.  Or a combination of closest to the hole/ longest drive/ straightest drive make some ridiculously long putt for a grand prize per say.

  3. Charge $5 per person and move the tees up on the longest Par 5 on the course.  They can either hit from the normal tees or move up to the new place.  Just make it so they won't have much more than 100 yards to the green if they choose to move up.

  4. Have a certain hole set the you can only use a certain club till you get to the green.  I played in one recently and it was a 7 iron on a par 5.

Start on the middle tees and if a team birdies they move back, and a bogey they move forward.

Have a mulligan that you can buy and use once where you think you need it.

Closest to the pin on the second shot wouldn't be bad on an average length par 4.

I'm sure theres more things out there you could do too.

  5. Closest to pin on Par 3. Longest drive in the fairway. Longest put. Hope these ideas help
