  1. No, your lungs won't hurt any more than usual. However, often when a person quits smoking they cough more for awhile. This is because the cilia in the lungs (small hair-like structures which help remove debris from the air passages) will start to grow back and do their job once again and will rid your lungs of much of the mucus and other c**p you've accumulated by smoking.

    Good luck!

P.S. Don't waste your time with the website "recticor.." recommended. It's just a commercial pill selling site.

  2. No... your lungs are hurt every time you DO smoke.  When you stop they can start healing.

    Congrats on quitting!

  3. People are right, you are hurting your lungs when you do smoke.  They will begin to heal when you quite.  The thing that will hurt is fighting the addictions.  Good luck, and good choice
