  1. Obviously, breathing in smoke and tar is not good for you. The tar (among other chemicals) gets into your bronchioles and coats the cilia, making them not able to move. Also, your lungs will not be able to expand, which is needed to inhale oxygen, since they are hardening. Eventually, the hardened lugs may rip or tear, and that might not feel too great, hmm? In general, why would you want to breathe in something that is obviously going to take years off your life, and possibly (most likely) give you cancer? There are hundreds of other reasons to quit smoking, plus, thousands of bad things it's doing to your body.

Try Sunflower seeds. They're a good distraction.

  2. No, you explain.  Try using English.  Sentences.

If you are asking why inhaling burning hot vapors into your lungs is bad for your lungs, you have answered your own question.  Do you really think some of the most delicate tissue in your body is not harmed by being exposed to a burning hot chemically corrosive vapor?  Duh.

Your next question should be to ask if smashing your fingers with a hammer is bad for them.  The only difference is that your fingers have lots of nerves that will tell you to STOP.
