The Russian striker compares the English Premier League with the Russian Premier League after returning to the St. Petersburg club from Arsenal.

this month.
However, unlike the aforementioned players, Arshavin has joined Zenit St. Petersburg on loan. The 30-year-old completed his loan move on the transfer deadline day after penning down a six-month contract at Petrovsky stadium.
The Russian outfit will reportedly pay 1 million Euros loan fee as well as Arshavin’s wages till the end of the ongoing domestic season.
Arshavin has expressed his delight after returning to his former club and revealed that he received the proposal from the Meshki a week before the end of the transfer window.
He admitted that he grabbed the opportunity to return to Zenit with both hands because he wants to get more playing time on the pitch.
He went on to assure the fans of his physical fitness, revealing that he is ready to play the third league round. However, He went on to admit that he is lacking match practice at the moment and it will take him a little time to
settle down.
“It happened very fast. A few people told me that I will not be able to complete the deal during the current transfer window. But I am glad that I managed to sign the contract to return to my beloved city.
“In the current situation, it seemed to me the best option available. I am ready to play and help the Russian outfit.” The UEFA Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Arshavin went on to compare the English Premier League with the Russian Premier League. The prolific striker admitted that the English league is amongst the best leagues in the world.
Comparing the climatic difference between London and St. Petersburg city, the Russian Cup winner admitted that both the cities have a similar climate.
