I am really annoyed!!!!?

I was watching the Today show this morning and the big news story was Cristy Brinkley's divorce. The police found a body of a 12 year old girl in Vermont yesterday that had been missing for more than a week, and the big news story is some washed up models divorce?? What is wrong with people today?? Why do we even care what goes on in Hollywood? Those people are just regular people with money. What's the big deal?

I get annoyed, too. But, I think it is the medias fault most of the time. It is just like the continuous coverage given to these would-be starlettes that can't stay sober or whatever it is they do. I turn it off. You know, if the countries media think that this is what the American public wants to see, they will continue to throw it in our faces. My God, there are more important things we should be concerned about.

That my dear is why I just dont watch the news. I hear the important current events from my friends and coworkers. That way I dont have to waste an hour of my life watching half-news and half-junk. It's important to keep up with current events but watching the news but sometimes its just depressing or annoying to watch.

There is a lot more that gets swept under the rug than that. The 12 year old's uncle, who was the last to see her, was caught in a child s*x ring sting. In addition, Cindy McCain's fight against Mother's Against Drunk Driving.

I saw that too! I could believe that those people seriously think we care more about hollywood star's lives then we do about more important things in the world! I was shocked.
